Internship
During my Revenue Operations internship at Service Express in the summer of 2024, I had the opportunity to dive deep into Salesforce CRM and play a key role in optimizing data operations. I worked closely with cross-functional teams to manage account creation, clean up duplicate records, and ensure seamless implementation of updated account types and statuses.
One of my favorite parts of the role was tackling over 135 help desk tickets, where I enjoyed solving problems and finding solutions that helped keep things running smoothly for the entire organization. This experience not only sharpened my technical skills but also gave me a firsthand look at how data integrity and collaboration drive business success.

My third summer working here as an SDR, I continued to prospect on different accounts and set meetings for my account executive. As an intern, despite spending cold-calling for half the time as my SDR peers, the number of meetings I set each month was on track with them.
Additionally, I did extra work cleaning up the accounts lists of other SDRs. This often took heavy use of my critical thinking skills, and this resulted in a more efficient prospecting process and an increase in meetings set from these SDRs.
Finally, I assisted management by analyzing the performance metrics of other SDRs. Finding patterns in their performance data, I dug to the root of these issues which led to solutions being proposed to boost performance.

During my second summer working here as an SDR, I learned how to prospect accounts through a systematic approach involving emailing, LinkedIn messaging, and cold-calling. I developed my sales pitch and learned how to successfully handle objections, leading to setting meetings for an account executive.

This was my first summer as an SDR. I was introduced to many facets of sales, but most importantly how an SDR role works to fit within a company's objectives. I took on the role of using the tools GovSpend, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Sales Force to qualify leads for other SDRs, where they could turn opportunities I created for them into pipeline growth.
